Our History
The Birth of Excellence and Quality Care
Founded on February 28, 2006, Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center (MTCMC) is a multi-specialty medical center located at Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The hospital pioneered this great endeavor with a mission to deliver the best healthcare in the area. MTCMC initially started as a 100-bed complex, engineered to be spacious and patient-friendly. Through various improvements, the hospital has created a cozy ambiance for its patients and their guests. It is strategically located along MacArthur Highway, making it accessible not only to residents of Pampanga but also to its nearby provinces.
The hospital eventually expanded to 172 comfortable patient rooms, with some of the rooms later converted to specialty areas, bringing the total number of patient rooms to 123. In addition to its complete medical and diagnostic services manned by competent medical staff, MTCMC also offers ample parking spaces, adequate PWD access facilities, and clean and hygienic environment to provide comfort and convenience for patients and guests.
In 2019, a 5-story expansion building was opened in order to serve the public better. The expansion includes an enhanced Integrated Cancer Center, State of the Art Operating Theatres and Intensive Care Unit, and additional 23 Patient’s Rooms.
A Legacy of Excellence
Bringing the Future of Excellence
In November 2015, Silvermed Corporation, the company that created and managed MTCMC, partnered with Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc., a subsidiary of United Laboratories. This move strengthened its quest for being the best healthcare provider in the region.
In its 19 years of existence, Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center continues to innovate, improve, and progress with the patient as a priority. To name a few, the hospital expanded its Hemodialysis Center for a more convenient and comfortable treatment area for the dialysis procedure. Moreover, the Radiotherapy Cancer Center was established with TomoTherapy, which is one of the most integrated systems available today that delivers precise radiation treatment in fighting cancer. A new facility for the Endoscopy Center as well as the Nuclear Medicine Center were also opened for better diagnosis and treatment of other diseases. On top of that, the hospital improved its customer care services through simplified process, one-stop-shop business office, and renovated rooms. These improvements and developments are being made to render better.

Together, we enliven the spirit of solidarity by developing, employing, and supporting services and activities with regards to:
Health
It is our goal to enrich every Filipino’s lives by delivering quality health care services with compassion, sincerity and excellence to everyone seeking medical care. Our dedicated medical staff and expert doctors offer you a wide range of medical services that can be personalized according to your health needs.
With the commitment to saving lives and improving the quality of life of our patients, we conduct blood donation programs that seek to promote voluntary blood donation from kind-hearted individuals/groups to help vulnerable patients in need of blood.
Now a COVID-19 Bakuna Center, MTCMC provides better access for every Filipino to COVID-19 vaccines that will help them become protected from the virus and attain herd immunity.
Gender Equality
We strive to empower women to be more proactive with their health by raising more awareness among patients about health issues and conditions that often affect women through expert advice, consultation, and treatment by our competent health care professionals.
To further expand our reach and touch more lives through expert care, MTCMC opened its Women’s Health Center to provide specialized services for female patients who are suffering from dreaded diseases common in women. The hospital was able to acquire a digital breast tomosynthesis or 3D Mammogram, making it the first hospital to do so in Central Luzon.
Environment & Emergency Response
Your safety is always our top priority. We always make sure to maintain a safe and healthy work and natural environment free from trash and toxic wastes through proper waste disposal and segregation. Our commitment to preserving the environment was then recognized by governing bodies for being compliant with controlling toxic wastes and substances and being a healthy hospital for the past several years.
As part of our commitment to a more sustainable environment, we practice proper disposal, segregation, and recycling of trash for waste reduction, better sanitation, pollution prevention, and environment sustainability.
The members of MTCMC are educated about different types of emergencies that may occur and trained to prepare for any unexpected or dangerous occurrence (e.g. accidents, disasters, hazards, outbreaks, etc.) through proper course of action. The emergency team are especially trained for first aid and disaster & risk management and assistance.
